***Flashback Sunday is feature of my channel where I play pop tunes from the 60's, 70's and 80's.***

Today's Flashback Sunday tune is Elvis Presley's Burning Love.

Released in 1972, Burning Love was Elvis' last Top 10 hit of his career peaking at #2 on Billboard, but #1 on Cashbox. It was also his last rock hit as well.

I believe this song features Ron Tutt, who I feel is highly underrated, on drums. Surprisingly, this song has a lot of cool drum fills, so it's a pretty busy tune on drums! Which I like. Haha

Anyway, just trying my best to copy note for note what Ron laid down on the track although I was about a half beat too late coming off that syncopated fill leading into the third verse. But that's ok.

Thus, here it is.Not to toot my horn, but this was recorded on the first take and I was ok with it. I hope you are too.
