This is a Voice of Music Corporation model 8810 Amplifier from the late 50s. It is about a 5 watt amp, originally from a small portable home speaker system. The whole units seem to have rarely survived but these amp units were often pulled out and saved, with their heavy metal casing. It's a single 6V6 amp and has quite a lot of oompf when cranked. This video doesn't do justice to how boomy and crunchy it gets. I'd love to hear it through a low wattage amp cab with a Jensen speaker. Maybe some day!
It's a cool little find and if you ever come across one that works I definitely recommend working with it if your into vintage 50s 60s sounds.
