At the time, she often hung out at the Eagles Club, listening to the jukebox and writing letters to friends. That evening, Currie Grant, a family friend, asked her, “How’d you like to meet Elvis Presley? My wife and I are good friends of his.” Nervous but excited, Priscilla agreed, wearing a white and navy sailor dress for the occasion.
