They were induced to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City on January 20, 1988.

Man who honored to induce The Beatles was a friend and rival, Mick Jagger, also a frontman of a British legendary rock band "The Rolling Stones".

Mick Jagger recall one The Rolling Stones earliest encounter with The Beatles. The Rolling Stones was doing a gig when John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. Mick was strucked with awe. Their presence alone inspire Mick Jagger to push his limit and keep improving.
