South Australian Artistic Championships, Event 26: Masters Freeskating, 21 June 2009.
I did it a second time: winning the gold and becoming State Champion. I also got an invitation to go to the Nationals.
Thank you Tammy, Charmaine, Miriam, Natasha, Trisha, Ellen, Amy, Tara, Hannah and Robyn and everyone else from my club supporting me. Also thanks to Sean, Midge and Mike, Kim, Desi and Gloria, Blackwood Recreation Centre (Margaret etc), Carlos and Grete.

This is the only YouTube video featuring Doo Wop music/ 50s music and roller skating.
I only come alive skating to vocal music and not instrumental. However, there are no vocals (understandable words) allowed in in the freekskating competition. I found a way around it: non-sense syllables which were used in 50s doo wop music but this year I got close to getting disqualified but didn't. I had to pay with a mark down (see judge number 2: 5.8 5.8).
