Tragically, the project paused when Kelly was diagnosed with ALS, but in her final weeks, she inspired Heath with detailed instructions to carry on their work—finishing a mass Civil War grave investigation they started together using GPR, and pursuing the Presley site to honor her vision. The weekend of the Civil War mass grave marker dedication, which History Seekers helped locate, became a turning point; Heath resolved to press forward with the lost Presley grave, turning grief into purpose. Our team reached out to Graceland for guidance and waiting on reply at the time of posting, History Seekers remains committed to ethical exploration, assisting the Presley family if desired, and following any new leads—proving that Kelly's legacy of curiosity and resilience continues to light the way for discoveries that connect us all to history's heart.
