Though recorded in the summer of ’55 while Elvis was still with Sun Records, this track was one of the masters purchased by RCA Victor and first released as part of his 1956 debut LP “Elvis Presley,” which spent ten weeks atop the Billboard album chart. The song had earlier been recorded by the R&B group The Eagles in 1954 for the Mercury label (listen here: https://youtu.be/mBHd3lXpXiQ )
