In 1962, Priscilla Beaulieu traveled from West Germany to the United States to spend time with Elvis Presley during a period when he was working in Hollywood. The visit was arranged with the consent of her parents and took place while Elvis was between film commitments. During her stay, Priscilla remained largely out of public view, as the relationship was not openly discussed in the press at the time.
