This is the second video from the series I'm doing featuring my favorite Paul bass lines. We decided to split up the songs to dedicate a bit more time for each one. Hope you enjoy it, if so if please like, subscribe, and share!

I recorded all the instruments myself in my studio using the following equipment:

I recorded the bass and electric guitars direct into Logic using the Axe Fx II. For the bass, I used a Fender Bassman amp model and for the electric guitars I used various Vox amp and cab models. I used EQ, compression, reverb, etc to the best of my ability to attempt to capture what George Martin did in 1963.

The drums were recorded simply using to SM57's as overheads and the D112 on the kick, placed barely inside the port hole. I used the matching Tama snare with a Remo Coated Vintage head tuned medium and muffled just enough to get the ring out. Again, EQ, compression, reverb, etc applied.
