Nonna Fab, co-founder of the Apricot Ballroom parties, releases his debut EP ‘Music for the Movers’ on U’reguay Records. Apricot Ballroom is a ‘Love Saves The Day’-inspired audiophile party based in Sheffield, UK which has been running for the last two years.

The two-track EP captures both disco and tropical elements of a high energy dance floor environment and has clear inspiration from the original NY loft parties throughout both sides of the debut release.

The party-focussed EP takes from a range of influences, placing itself somewhere between disco, funk, boogie and the b-side touching on a more Afro-boogie dance floor piece with samples from Chicco’s ‘I Need Money’. The B side has a very spacious and natural side to the track throughout, suited heavily to an audiophile setup.
