It was written by Paul during the Beatles' trip to India.
Without knowing, John had written a song on the same topic,

However John didn't like the idea that the songs were similar, so his didn't appear on the white album.

He released it with different lyrics along with the plastic Ono band, under the title "Jealous guy"

It is probably written about Yoko, but when you think about it, it could be a admission to his best friend that he was jealous of his song.
