Marvin Gaye’s “I Heard It Through The Grapevine” was released in 1967 on In the Groove and became one of Motown’s biggest hits in 1968.
A few years later, Creedence Clearwater Revival transformed it into a legendary 11-minute jam on their 1970 album Cosmo’s Factory.
Two completely different styles, one soul, one rock, but both unforgettable.
