Written by Leiber and Stoller, it was first recorded by the R & B duo, Willy and Ruth, in 1954. It was recorded by Elvis Presley in 1956 for his second album "Elvis". It was not released as a single. It reached #2 on the Top 100 chart and #7 on the R & B chart. Elvis performed the song on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1956 and also on his 1968 "Comeback Special" on NBC. He usually performed the song in concert including his final tour in June of 1977.
