This is an instructional video for the fingerstyle performance video I posted recently. I get asked quite regularly for tab videos now, so the idea here is to offer something to anyone interested in learning the arrangement.

I prefer doing it this way to making tab videos, and I actually think it is more beneficial for learning too. In recording an instructional video, I get chance to explain a bit more about the thinking process behind what’s going on. I am thus hoping this video will offer some general advice and tips for anyone who wants to improve at fingerstyle guitar.

I also like to try and encourage players to improvise and come up with their own individual take on arrangements when teaching, and I allude to this concept throughout the video.

As this is the first video I’ve recorded in this format there are quite a lot of edits. I’ll try and streamline the process if I decide to do more in future.
