This is one of my all time favourite productions. A friend of mine, Tony Quinn (also a music legend) let me know that Larry Page had migrated from the UK to Australia. Larry managed the Troggs and The Kinks at their pinnacle. He produced "Wild Thing" by the Troggs, the first song any guitarist who can play a bar chord learns amongst countless other massive hits and is truly a rock and roll icon. We needed a music legend to be part of a branded content campaign for Budvar Beer ( the original Budweiser ) so we approached Larry. Luckily he loved the idea and the beer! We heard and filmed some classic rock tales and had alot of fun putting this piece together. For a while I had a beef with the scientific community for not being able to produce a time machine I could use to get back to London on the 60s!! What a time to be in the music business.
