During the Imagine sessions at Tittenhurst Park in 1971, John Lennon recorded How Do You Sleep? — his biting response to Paul McCartney. George Harrison joined in on slide guitar, giving the track its sharp edge. What emerged was one of Lennon’s most direct and controversial solo statements, born out of the fallout of The Beatles.
