John Fogerty wrote every hit Creedence Clearwater Revival ever had. But when his war with label owner Saul Zaentz tore everything apart, his own brother Tom sided with the enemy. Tom called Zaentz his "best friend" and wrote John letters saying they'd win. In 1990, Tom died from AIDS after a contaminated blood transfusion. They never reconciled. Years later, John forgave him — but Tom never got to hear it.
