Hank Williams the American country music singer wrote and recorded this song in 1952. The melody is based on a Cajun song called " Grand Texas" and tells us all about the Cajun way of life , parties and the cuisine which comprises of crawfish pie , file' gumbo and drnking liquor from fruit jars.
