..Mix technical stuff :
This was a fun project to do. I use 5 software products ..( listed below ) I had no prior knowledge of .. or experience with these .. I made around 25 alterations .. some of which are as follows:
1. Converted original .MKV video format into .WAV format .. that programs could better understand .. for this I used a free Artificial Intelligence ( Ai ) program here https://www.freeconvert.com/mp4-to-wav
2. Reduced WAV file sizes by .5 with the free open-source Audacity Digital Audio Workstation ( DAW ) https://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows/.
3. Changed the Beats Per Second (bps) to 115. This creates a "sustain" for the vocals .. makes them last-longer .. by about 10% using https://vocalremover.org/
4. Separated and re-mapped Sunday Funnies Voice & Music tracks so Voices could be made louder ..+ 15% Gain https://vocalremover.org/
5. Changed the Pitch of the T-Turner & Sly versions .. to match the Sunday Funnies original Key : Ab Minor .. using Audacity and the Ai at https://vocalremover.org/pitch
6. Isolated the Turner vocals for the 3X "Boom-Shack-Ah-Laca" .. and the 4X Heys!'s .. at the beginning of each verse .. https://www.openshot.org/download/
7. Used OpenShot to make an INTRO-chain combining Sly's (guitar / organ / bass / drum) with Turner's 3X Shaka and 4X Hey! (featured 3x in the final Mix ).
8. Mixed Sly's Harmonica Solo with SF's spoken-verse "Smoke This Weed" .. Place this verse superimposed on the Harmonica Solo 2X
9. Over-lay Richard's high-pitch Vocal Crescendo w / Richard Kosinski's Organ Crescendo w / Sly's Solo Trumpet + backing vocals into the final minute of the Mix.. 2X Higher & 1x Fire
10. The original Out-Track had Funnies repeat HIGHER 15X .. I reduced this to 3X and blended Higher .. Fire and other out-takes from Funnies V2 .. Sly and Tina ( last 47 seconds )
