How to write music that never gets BORING and PREDICTABLE

Does perfect balance and symmetry exist in music? And does it help you with how to write music that never gets boring?
In this music tutorial I will show one of my favourite techniques that I use to make the musical layers less dependent of each other. This is especially usefull in music that makes use of chord loops or other repeating 4 chord progressions. There is a risk of this music becoming boring, predictable and not so unique.
How this works in short: you write for example a melody of a longer length then your chord progression. But you repeat both the melody and the progression. This way these two musical layers/ building blocks start going out of synch immediately.
