Then David Bowie told his record label: “I’m not staying for dinner, I’m going to see Tina Turner.” He brought 63 people to her little show in New York. That night changed her life. After the show, Tina partied with Bowie, Keith Richards, and Ron Wood, drinking Jack Daniels straight from the bottle. It was her comeback.
