After a prolonged absence from Youtube, I have returned with a whole passel of new piano covers. This is the first: an immortal classic rock hit from 1969. Written by John Fogerty and recorded by Creedence Clearwater Revival, this golden oldie was an anthem for the anti-war movement in the late '60s. Even today, it is closely associated with the Vietnam War and has been used in numerous movies, particularly "Forrest Gump."
I have attempted to do it justice here. My arrangement is, I admit, a little rough. I added a rock 'n roll/boogie-woogie section in the middle; it fits well with the song, but my transition was a bit sloppy. All told, though, this was a really fun song to record. I hope you all enjoy it.
Credit for the song is due, of course, to John Fogerty.
