This is one of four songs, each with that gentle, 'unplugged' feel, that were recorded for the soundtrack of 'Wild In The Country' (released 1961), but it was not used in the film and not made available on record until 1965 ("Elvis For Everyone" LP). The melody is, in part, very reminiscent of the main musical theme used for the John Wayne film, The Searchers (1956). A very short song orignally (1.38), I have extended it by about a minute. Recorded 3 February 2024 in the original key of G, video time 2.45 .
