Elvis Presley (1935–1977), the “King of Rock and Roll,” reshaped popular music by bringing rock to a global mainstream audience. He married Priscilla Beaulieu (born 1945) in 1967 after meeting her while serving in the U.S. Army in Germany.

Their only daughter, Lisa Marie Presley (1968–2023), was born in Memphis and grew up surrounded by fame. After the couple divorced in 1973, she primarily lived with her mother but maintained a close bond with Elvis until his passing in 1977.

Lisa Marie later followed her own path in music and played a key role in preserving her father’s legacy at Graceland until her death in 2023.
