In this episode of Elvis: Up Close, we’re spotlighting a 1964 Gretsch Country Gentleman guitar, purchased by Elvis on July 9, 1969, just before his return to the stage in Las Vegas.

This guitar made its stage debut during Elvis’ opening run at the International Hotel and was later seen in Elvis: That’s the Way It Is, with footage now featured in Baz Luhrmann’s EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert.
