which aired on January 6, 1978.
Elvis had passed away in August
and this was his father's first public appearance since.
He thanked the public for their support and sympathy,
then he introduced Buck and the Hee-Haw gospel quartet
singing the favorite hymn of Elvis, "Amazing Grace".

*Elvis Presley was a big fan of Buck Owens and the show Hee-Haw, he always wanted to make a surprise visit and appear on the show, but his manager Colonel Parker didn't want him to.
