It was January 8, 1958 — Elvis Presley’s 23rd birthday — when 8-year-old Mary Kosloski waited more than two hours to meet him. The little girl, once the March of Dimes poster child, finally saw Elvis walk in with his famous smile. He gently told her, “If you were ten years older, honey, I wouldn’t let you go.” Mary laughed, and together they posed with teddy bears and pandas Elvis was donating to fight polio — Like if you love Elvis!
