The Legendary and widely considered as British Rock Greatest Band of all time "The Beatles" bassist and genius songwriter, Paul McCartney appeared on Late Show with David Letterman at the historic Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City. It was the 45th anniversary of The Beatles first U.S. appearance.

He clarify fact about the famous Paul is Dead (PID) theory. The theory suggest that Paul McCartney died in a car accident in November 1966. He was then replaced by a lookalike named William Shears Campbell as known as Billy Shears.
