What if CCR’s Fortunate Son had been recorded as a blazing funk rock anthem for 70s Arena Rock radio instead of a swamp rock classic?

Lafayette Park is my re-imagining of the track for THE COVER LAB – featuring heavy syncopated bass, brass stabs, driving drums and powerful vocals, re-engineered with extra horsepower.

This is a fan-made side-project from THE COVER LAB, created purely out of love for the original artists. It’s an unofficial tribute – the original Creedence Clearwater Revival song and recording will always be the real thing, and all rights to the composition and master remain with the original writers, publishers and rights holders.
