(Credit to MLBClassics11.) Double nostalgia since the 80s are that old now! Interesting that, even though they were playing rockabilly music in 50s diner themed decor, they still advertised their music as also being 60s and even 70s!
A British Invasion 60s song or a singer songwriter pop type of 70s song... while very different from the synthpop or hair band late 80s rock of that time... doesn't seem like it should've been lumped in with 1955 golden oldies and doo wop, but I guess that shows how quick the times and generations changed back then.
