This is a complete audio restoration of "Cage," the legendary unreleased track from the Back to the Egg (1979) sessions. Since we are still waiting for an official "Archive Collection" release, I decided to apply modern de-mixing techniques to rescue this track from low-quality bootleg sources.
Technical Improvements in this 2026 Version:
MAL/AI Technology: I used UVR5 to extract the original stems from the bootleg source, allowing for a surgical cleanup of Paul's vocals, removing the "boxy" sound of the original tape.
Rickenbacker Bass Presence: McCartney's iconic bass was processed independently to regain its signature "growl" and centered punch, characteristic of Giles Martin's recent Beatles remixes.
New Stereo Image: Guitars and keyboards were panned wide to clear the center channel for the vocals and drums, resulting in a much more open and modern soundstage.
Final Mastering: Processed in FL Studio using Maximus to reach 2026 loudness standards while preserving the original dynamics of the 1979 performance.

Songwriter: Paul McCartney.
