???? This video features the songs that were in the Top 30 of the official U.S. BILLBOARD YEAR-END HOT 100 SINGLES OF 1984 chart! Normally we feature the Top 20, but 1984 was such a massively stacked year when it came to hits, we just had to expand it and show the Top 30!!

This chart was published in Billboard's year-end editon of their publication in the U.S. You can find the entire list online and see that these are the exact songs that Billboard chose as being the top 30 of the year. Please note that these are NOT our personal favorites or choices!
Also note that while some of these songs were released earlier in 1983, all of these songs charted at their highest and had the most airplay during the year 1984, which is why they are counted in the year-end list for '84.
