In the late sixties Creedence Clearwater Revival ruled American radio but bitter internal feuds completely destroyed the legendary band of brothers. Guitarist Tom Fogerty left the group and tragically remained estranged from his brilliant younger brother John for over a decade. In a devastating cruel twist of fate Tom contracted a fatal illness from an infected blood transfusion during routine back surgery. As he lay dying John finally visited his hospital bed attempting a desperate last-minute reconciliation but years of deep resentment proved too powerful. Tom tragically passed away leaving rock history with an absolutely heartbreaking unresolved family tragedy.
