what a suprise there was at the Paul McCartney concert on June 25th ... he was joined by FOO FIGHTERS' Dave Grohl who performed publicly for the first time since Taylor Hawkins's passing .. when as he guested during Paul McCartney's at the Glastonbury Festival in Somerset, United Kingdom.

Paul said to the crowd "my friend, your hero" and Dave walked out .... they played THE BEATLES' "I Saw Her Standing There" and "Band On The Run"..

Mccartney is 80 years old..
