The Music and most of the footage is from the '50s. The 1920s is more properly known as the Golden Age of roller coasters, being the decade of frenetic building for these rides.
There are still traditional amusement parks which have survived, for example, Kennywood, in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, and Cedar Point, in Sandusky, Ohio.
