Drive like the King! Elvis Presley's Cadillac goes to auction in Salzburg

Legendary rock'n'roll singer Elvis Presley's custom modified Cadillac will be going under the hammer in Salzburg on Saturday, a shown in footage filmed the previous day.

The beige luxury lowrider was used by Elvis, from 1972 up until his death in 1977, to commute from his home in Beverly Hills to his performances in Las Vegas.

Two of these special Cadillac Sedan DeVille estate cars were produced, the other was made for crooner Dean Martin but it has since disappeared.

The car features customised gold-plated alloys and 24-carat gold decorative trims, as well as a range of extra hydraulic and electronic features.

The car is expected to fetch between €100,000 ($115,110) and €200,000 ($230,211).
